I work as an IT support specialist and spend my days solving technical problems and keeping systems running. What I enjoy about this work is the mix of analysis and direct contact with people: understanding a fault is one thing, explaining it so that it makes sense is another.

Outside my professional work, I also help private individuals with questions about computers and mobile devices. This includes setting up new equipment, resolving faults, and installing and configuring NAS systems for private data backup. When it comes to backups in particular, I keep noticing how many people only think about them once it is already too late.

As a counterbalance to the technical side, I devote myself to photography and video production. From filming through editing to image processing, I handle every step myself — a hobby that gives me the distance I need from screen work while teaching me about a different kind of technology.
